The Scheme Rules contain the operating procedures of the CCS.
REAL has sought to provide a suitable and robust scheme framework given the continued diversification of the composting industry and increased participation in this scheme. The rules have been reviewed and endorsed by REAL's Compost Certification Technical Advisory Committee.
Scheme Rules version 9
This latest version of our scheme rules is version 9, which was issued on 1st March 2021 and is downloadable from here. The new Scheme Rules supersedes the old version from 1st March 2021.
CCS Position on Technical Requirements
The accompanying document to the CCS Scheme Rules is the CCS Position on Technical Requirements, available to download here. This document provides clarification on specific requirements in PAS 100, the CQP, and the Scheme Rules.
