Compost Resource Framework

Any compost producer who supplies compost for use in England as a ‘product’ must demonstrate compliance with the Compost Resource Framework (CRF). The CRF sets out the end-of-waste criteria for the production, storage, and use of quality outputs from composting of source-segregated biodegradable waste.

Compost Quality Protocol

Compost Quality Protocol

Any compost producer who supplies compost for use in Wales, and Northern Ireland as a ‘product’ must demonstrate compliance with the Compost Quality Protocol (CQP).
