REAL has published its ninth annual report for the Compost Certification Scheme, providing an overview of the scheme and a summary of scheme developments in 2024. The report shows that by the end of 2024, there were 173 certified composting processes in the UK and Republic of Ireland: 133 in England, 6 in Northern Ireland, 21 in Scotland, 12 in Wales, and 1 in the Republic of Ireland.
